When a wise old man needs counsel he seeks the advice of a wise old woman. Women are the canaries in the coal mine and they can sense dysfunction, selfishness, and corruption much better than men can. My wife also bats 100% on telling me some business ideas are horrible and I try them anyway until I accept that she’s right. I’ve yet to find a more damning stat on how dysfunctional the modern medical apparatus is than the fact the women physicians (a profession that used to be called a “healer”) commit suicide 400% more than women in other professions.
