A middle school graduation ceremony will be a painful reminder for one Madera mother as she walks to accept the diploma of her murdered son.
Samantha Bautista, the mother of Jacob Munoz, is speaking out publicly for the first time since his death.
In an exclusive interview with FOX26, she opened up about the pain, the fight for justice and what it means to receive his diploma this week.
“I'm here, you know, trying to find the strength to talk about this because it's not easy," she said.
Samantha looks back at the loss of her only child who was taken from her too soon.
Jacob was brutally stabbed and killed during a fight outside a quinceañera celebration in Madera on July 6th.
