This past week, I was given the opportunity to work alongside some of the amazing women at the forefront of advancing the health and performance of female athletes during the 2025 Female Athlete Conference.
I had the privilege of capturing the true emotion of what these talented individuals have presented, from groundbreaking research to inspirational firsthand accounts of what being a female athlete truly entails. Being a collegiate female athlete myself, it was truly eye-opening to see the behind-the-scenes. For me, the talk that had the most impact was delivered by USA Olympic cyclist Alison Tetrick. Her story of injuries and the struggle with mental health as an athlete was similar to my own. In my photography journey, my main drive is to capture what it truly is to be an athlete.
