Gratitude Journaling 📖✏️ • This is an integral part of my morning routine to get my mind in the right place to have a happy and successful day! 🌄 🧠 • Following my meditation practice, I begin journaling and one of the most essential aspects to my morning journaling is graditude. 📓🙏 • I write down 5 things I'm grateful for, avoiding repetition and thinking beyond the norm. ✏️ • Gratitude has been shown in clinical studies to: • - Release oxytocin (feel good hormone, also referred to as the 'love hormone') ♥️ - Lower blood pressure 👇🏼 - Increase longevity 👴🏽👵🏻 - Improve mood/happiness (through release of seratonin and dopeamine) 😄 - Decrease inflammation 👇🏼 - Promote better sleep 😴 - and much more! 😀 • This simple exercise has been shown to reduce anxiety, depression, and stress! 🙌🏽 • Good mental health is the underlying foundation to physical health. 🧠💪🏼 • Mindfully practicing graditude is nothing short of miraculous.
