Here is what’s actually going on 👇 1. Alexa is actually not always recording you: Until your Echo device detects your chosen wake word. This is made possible by built-in technology called “keyword spotting” that matches spoken audio to the wake word’s acoustic patterns. 2. Deleting files from your recycle bin doesn’t mean they are fully deleted. Deleted files are marked as available space on your drive and allow this data to be overwritten. However, until you actually overwrite the data it is still recoverable, therefore deleting something from your hard drive doesn’t actually permanently erase it. 3. Incognito mode does not make you fully anonymous.
