The Nationals drop game one in a series with the Arizona Diamondbacks 4-6. The Nats opened the game strong with 3 runs scored off home runs from CJ Abrams and Luis García Jr in the bottom of the 1st. Things would soon cool off as their only score for the remainder of the game would come in the bottom of the 6th on a home run from Nathaniel Lowe. Following the 1st inning the Diamondbacks would score a combined 5 runs with two home runs coming from Corbin Carroll, a double from Randal Grichuk, and a single from Josh Naylor.
