Passionate about neurologic physical therapy, Bobby Hand, DPT, assistant clinical professor in the Department of Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation Sciences in Drexel University’s College of Nursing and Health Professions (drexelcnhp), teaches his students to center patient experience in health care.

In his courses, students engage in experiential learning opportunities in addition to classroom and lab-based instruction. In his Neurologic Examination & Intervention courses, students meet with community volunteers who have a history of stroke or spinal cord injury to practice exams and treatment techniques in a supervised setting.
