Ready to elevate your pointe work? Join Sidney Lowenthal Wednesdays at 8pm for her Beginner Pointe class! ⁠ ⁠ With 38 years of teaching experience at Joffrey Ballet School, Sidney guides dancers through a focused and supportive environment, helping you strengthen your pointe technique. This class is perfect for those with at least one year of Beginner Ballet experience. Dancers who dance en-pointe at a different studio are permitted to take Pointe at Joffrey. If a dancer has not been en-pointe within 1 year, they will need to be assessed by the Open Class faculty member before taking a pointe class. Classes will draw upon previously learned ballet technique, with students working at the barre, in center, and across the floor en pointe. All pointe classes are taught at a Beginner level. All adults must attend Beginner Ballet at 6:30 pm prior to taking the pointe class.
