Growing up, sports was never my thing. After a surprise baseball to the face, little me flinched at everything thrown my way (still do at times). Constant headaches and migraines made it hard to play football. Up until the last two years, I could have cared less about sports. My original plan out of high school was to go to school to be a historian, but after a semester of that I changed my mind. I’ve always been drawn towards taking photos, but never found something that kept me interested. I am not the most social person, so I didn’t want anything to do with weddings or family sessions. After messaging a classmate about photography his summer baseball team (roll Skis), it clicked with me. I had no idea what I was doing photographing baseball. But I stuck to it. Ended up being contracted by the local high school to photograph their 2023-24 sporting events which helped expose me to all sorts of challenges.
