Tuckahoe softball fell in the Class C championship game on June 14, 11-0, to Bloomfield at Green Light Networks Grand Slam Parks in Binghamton.
"I told the girls one game doesn't define a season," Coach John D'Arco said reflecting on the season. "Right now, it stings and it should. For the seniors, unfortunately, this is their last game. You always want to win the last game at any level, but we had an unbelievable season. The second time in school history we've ever gotten to the state championship game. The last time was 1985. We have the program going in the great direction right now. There's a lot to be proud of."
