This week's featured childhood cancer hero is Sylvia Ruhland! #cancersurvivor Sylvia loves volunteering and being active and artistic. After an MRI revealed a brain tumor instead of a suspected food allergy, Sylvia's entire life changed. She had surgery two days later and then began treatment with radiation and chemotherapy. Despite experiencing side effects (she now wears special glasses to help correct some of her vision challenges), Sylvia is celebrating six years being cancer-free!
