Play Xbox… with no Xbox? 🤔 Yeah, so Microsoft is selling an Xbox bundle on Amazon that includes a Fire Stick, an Xbox controller, and a 1 month subscription to Game Pass Ultimate. But there’s no Xbox so what’s the catch? Game Pass Ultimate includes Xbox Cloud Gaming which allows you to play Xbox games from anywhere on most devices as long as you have a good internet connection. And that means you can fire up a Meta Quest and get Xbox gaming on a HUGE screen. Now, it’s not perfect. There is some slight latency, and you WILL need a good internet connection for this. Also xCloud is pushing 1080p 60 so it’s not hyper crisp resolution and top notch quality. But for the casual gaming sesh… I’ve been enjoying it. And it’s quite a cool experience to get a living room filling screen to game on. Plus because it’s all cloud based, your games save in the cloud and you can pick back up on them at any time.
