📚 Story School = Confidence + Connection 💛 What happens when moms and their little ones come together to read, laugh, and learn? For 12 joyful classes, TCAA’s Health Start families joined the Make Way for Books Story School — a bilingual program designed to spark a lifelong love of reading. Through songs, stories, and hands-on fun, 13 moms and 18 children discovered the power of reading together. 📖 Each family went home with books — up to 22 total — to build their own home library. 🎶 “We liked reading and singing together,” said one mom. “I learned how to read with my baby.” 💬 And every session helped build more than literacy — it built trust, confidence, and community. Some families came facing housing stress, food insecurity, or immigration uncertainty.
