Chongqing City, also known to travelers as “Cyberpunk City”, will soon unveil a new railway station – the Chongqing East Railway Station. It will become the largest railway station in western China, spanning over 1.2 million square meters, with 15 platforms and 29 railway lines. At peak hours, it can deal with an hourly passenger throughput of 16,000.
