A SEASON TO REMEMBER!🥹✨💙🫶🏼🏒 This inaugural season PROVED that we are not a charity case, we are a business. We are not lacking in viewership, we are breaking viewership records. We don’t play soft, we hit and we hit hard. As a women’s sports advocate, it has been hard to sit behind the screen of TikTok preaching to young women that they can be whoever they want to be, when in reality it wasn’t even possible and sustainable to become a “pro female hockey player.” This season refuelled me, it filled me with pride, and it showed me that all that hard work our community has done to promote women and the women’s game was worth it. To all the girls holding “future PWHL first round pick” this year was for you. Thank you for the season sportsgirlsclub + team!
