I haven’t known Sydni McMillan very long, but I’d take a bet that she’s successfully hurdled every obstacle (and literal hurdle) she’s ever faced. Sydni walked on to ECU’s track team as a freshman in 2020, but quickly earned her scholarship. During her college career, she’s won many races, including the AAC’s 2024 Conference Championships in 100m hurdles, smashed records, and ran at the 2024 Olympic trials finishing as a semi finalist! She recently won the school’s Ms. Pirate award. (ECU’s MVP among all student athletes) Her next move is turning pro, and I can’t wait to see how fast and far she’ll go!
