Happy National Detroit Pizza Day! 🍕❤ To celebrate, I teamed up with @Jets Pizza spotlight on an incredible organization making a real difference right here in our city—Motor City Mitten Mission. If you’re from Detroit, you’ve probably seen their van rolling through the streets. Since 2017, they’ve been out seven days a week, showing up for our unsheltered neighbors when it matters most. Jet’s stepped up in a big way—donating 30 XL pizzas that fed 186 people, plus the amazing volunteers who helped prepare and deliver meals. After we packed everything up, Gail from Motor City Mitten Mission let me know they spent 13 hours on the road, covered 215 miles, and made 75 stops. That’s what kindness in action looks like.
