Healthier ORANGE CHICKEN (GF & Single-Serve) š§”
Ok dare I say this recipe is better than takeout? Last year I was cravinnggg orange chicken but wanted a lighter version thatās still packed with flavor⦠then she was born š„¹ A killer recipe if you cook for yourself, donāt like leftovers, or need something thatās under 15 minutes!!
For the chicken:
2 tbsp olive oil
1 large chicken breast, cut half lengthwise & then cubed (about 1ā pieces)
1 tbsp corn starch
1/4 tsp of each salt, pepper & red chili flakes
For the sauce:
2 tbsp orange juice
2 tbsp chicken stock / bone broth
1 tbsp honey
1/2-1 tsp sriracha (adjust to you spice liking)
1 clove garlic, grated or minced fine
1/2 tsp sesame oil
In a small bowl, whisk together all sauce ingredients & set aside. In a separate small bowl, mix together chicken, corn starch & seasonings until evenly coated. Heat 1-2 tbsp olive oil in a skillet over medium heat, add chicken, cook 2-3 minutes per side until thereās a light golden crust.
