Honestly give me a bowl of this whipped ricotta & I’d be happy enough 🙌🏻 These flavor-packed crostinis are guaranteed to impress your family & friends, plus fairly easy to make!! Here’s what you need:
1 baguette, sliced on the diagonal
Cooked butternut squash (1 cut mine small in 1/2” cubes, sautéed over stove for 10 minutes with a little garlic powder, salt, pepper, thyme!)
15oz ricotta cheese
1 tbsp olive oil
Zest of 1/2 lemon
1/4 tsp salt & pepper
Bacon, chopped
Fresh sage, finely chopped
Hot honey
Preheat oven to 400°F, lay sliced baguette on a baking sheet. Use a pastry brush, lightly spread a little olive oil on top each slice. Toast in the oven for about 8 minute, flip & broil on high for 2 minutes or until the crostinis are golden brown.
In a medium mixing bowl add ricotta cheese, olive oil, salt/pepper, lemon zest & beat for 2-3 minutes on high with a hand mixture. It should be smooth & creamy! Refrigera...
