"Why I Keep Showing Up." For Agustí Perez, our Senior Regional Director for Southern Europe, racing IRONMAN events isn’t about chasing a podium. It’s about staying connected to the athletes he serves, and proving to himself that the finish line is always worth the effort. After a serious back injury in 2019 and being told he’d never run again, Agustí chose patience, smart training, and resilience. In 2024, he ran two marathons and finished an IRONMAN (his 6th!). In Agusti's words...He’s not fast. He’s not slow. He trains when he can, races when he’s able, and understands the small moments that define race day, like the magic of a cup of Coke at kilometre 30!
