Fitness is not linear… life happens, injuries happen, sh!t happens. We can’t be 100% 100% of the time. We make gains and sometimes we lose those gains. And that’s totally okay and normal. 3 months ago I was specifically training to Max back squats, bench, and dead lifts. I had number goals in my mind and trained specifically to hit those numbers. I wasn’t traveling, I wasn’t in school, I wasn’t working, I was putting all my effort and time into fitness and hitting my goals. Starting in August, Ben and I gym hopped across the country from North Carolina to California. Yes we were in the gym but we weren’t training the same and weren’t able to recover as well since we were on the road. In California we took a week off of the gym. And then moved to Oahu. That first day back in the gym in our new home was AWFUL. I felt so weak and honestly wanted to give up.
