Georgia Tech gt_isye major Rakeb Tesfassellasie co-founded Gorginea Care, a company that aims to provide more accessible testing tools for cervical cancer screenings.
Fulfilling a high school promise to herself, Tesfassellasie transferred to Tech from perimetercollege. She is one of 90 students nationwide to receive the prestigious Jack Kent Cooke Undergraduate Transfer Scholarship, a need-based award for community college students transferring to four-year institutions. Tesfassellasie plans to apply her degree to healthcare business and supply chain management, building on her Gorginea Care experience. ⚕️
