On June 25 and 26, TanenbaumCHAT faculty came together for an engaging and forward-thinking AI Mini-Conference, focused on exploring the potential of artificial intelligence in education. Over the course of two dynamic mornings, staff had the opportunity to: • Dive into the school’s newly developed AI Vision and Guidelines • Explore how AI can meaningfully enhance teaching, learning, and student engagement • Experiment with innovative AI tools and classroom resources • Discuss best practices for skill development in the age of AI • Design their own AI “greenlight assessments” for use in the upcoming school year The afternoons were dedicated to departmental collaboration, giving teachers time to begin integrating these ideas into their planning for 2025 and beyond.
