Lately I’ve been thinking about how much pressure we put on our spaces to look perfect. But honestly? Some of my favorite moments have happened in the middle of the mess. When there’s dishes in the sink, blankets on the floor, music playing, real life happening. Of course I love when everything’s clean and tidy and put away, who doesn’t? But more than anything, I love coming home and feeling at peace in my space. It doesn’t have to be new or expensive or styled for anyone else. It just has to feel like you.
