Drop sets seriously changed the game for me.
Here’s how they work:
You go to failure → drop the weight → keep going (no rest) → and repeat.
It’s a quick way to push your muscles to fatigue without having to keep adding heavier weight. And trust me, the burn is CRAZY.
Why it works: you’re keeping your muscles under tension longer, which can lead to more growth.
That said, I don’t do these in every workout. They’re intense and can be hard to recover from, so I usually just throw them in 1–2x a week at the end of my arm days as a burnout.
