Mazyria, affectionately known as “Mazy,” was born at Zoo de Granby in Quebec in 2007 and produced her first litter of cubs there in 2013.
She arrived at your Toronto Zoo in 2019 due to an Amur tiger Species Survival Plan (SSP) breeding recommendation where she was matched with male tiger, Vasili.
In 2021, Mazy gave birth to a beautiful daughter named Mila. With both litters, Mazy has proven to be a very attentive and affectionate mother 🐅
