She arrived at your Toronto Zoo in 2019 due to an Amur tiger Species Survival Plan (SSP) breeding recommendation where she was matched with male tiger, Vasili. In 2021, Mazy gave birth to a beautiful daughter named Mila. With both litters, Mazy has proven to be a very attentive and affectionate mother 🐅 Did you know? The Amur Tiger SSP ensures the ongoing genetic health of the Amur tiger population in human care, safeguarding genetic diversity that may have been lost in the wild during the 20th century.
