There were 2 coaches in my life that made me want to quit hockey - my first year 14u AAA coach and my first college coach. They almost ruined the game I love so much. Ever since I got into coaching, I made it my mission to never be that way to any player. Sports are supposed to be fun. Obviously at higher levels it can be a job, but it’s important to still give respect to your players!!
