oh, DOMINICA 🇩🇲🌴🐬 NOT Dominican Republic ❗️This Caribbean island is snuggled in between Martinique and Guadeloupe (dang, you haven’t heard of them either?!) what you need to know is that this island is special. Dominica (duh-min-NEE-kah) is SUPER GREEN 🌿 not only is 60% of this mountainous island covered in rainforest, it’s home for rare wildlife like seahorses, octopus, sperm whales, bats, parrots, & more 🌺🐬 there are hostels, boutique hotels, and lots of home stay options, but I always choose BUCKETLIST. the luxury resort I’m staying at coulibri_ridge is the first in the Caribbean to be completely off of the country’s electrical grid—powered by solar panels and wind turbines.
