Heading to watch monsterjam #worldfinals tonight with the family and found this clip from almost 20 years ago. monstercowboy qualified the nitrocircus truck but I convinced everyone that I should drive the freestyle portion even though I had absolutely no clue what I was doing.. and threw him out of the drivers seat so I could compete in my first ever monster jam event.. at the biggest event of the year! The jumps were so much bigger than I had ever imagined and I was scared to death.. landed on the roof at the buzzer but still ended up in 5th place 🇺🇸 damonbradshaw45 (former supercross legend) took the win that night. 🙌 my friend Cam (who I threw out of the drivers seat) came back and won the world finals a few years later when he got his own truck (Norther Nightmare). Camwas the first person to ever back flip a monster truck in competition in the nitro circus truck. Amazing how far the sport has come the last few years. I can’t wait for tonight!
