Wilder has held talks with the Foxes, who are looking for a replacement for Ruud van Nistelrooy. Former Wolves and Bournemouth boss Gary O'Neil also has admirers among the Leicester hierarchy but that appointment looks less likely at this stage. Wilder was sacked by Sheffield United after their Championship play-off final defeat to Sunderland.
