You learn life doesn’t get easier, and expectations get higher. They tell you to speak and express how you feel, but they use it against you. We scroll through the media dreaming of a lifestyle that isn’t real. There are real-world issues and communities that need help, but we can’t take a day out of the week to impact a family or a little boy and girl who need guidance. We tend to make everything a competition when the real key is collaboration. We hide from fears and challenges rather than going through them. We contemplate the obvious instead of starting. We look at certain situations as losses and not lessons. We want the end result but don’t put the work in to reach it. We pray and manifest but go against the signs. You can’t erase the past, but we can choose what defines us. You learn you can’t be that perfect person, but you also learn all you can do is be the BEST version of YOURSELF. ❤️ #20s Love, MJN
