Honestly the effort was half the fun. 😉 This is one of the most remote & beautiful natural wonders of Kyrgyzstan, and it’s no easy feat getting here…. It took us a day of driving over rough roads (including almost getting sucked into a muddy sinkhole), a permit from border zone authorities, a chilly night in yurt, and a horseback trek into the mountains, a boat ride and hike to a secluded viewpoint. Worth the effort?
