We HAVE to talk about the rise of the “Gym as Clinic” model 👀🩻 F45 recently announced a partnership with telehealth provider Dr. B to launch an integrated GLP-1 program - one of many moves toward gyms going more broad with their wellness offering. This is all a part of this growing trend I’m seeing where brands are stretching beyond their original product or offer and going broad to be your “one-stop wellness shop” Like Lifetime and their supplement line Alo and their workout program Eight sleep mattresses and their sleep supplement and even Equinox and their hotels and sleep lab Ok but why NOW? Honestly, consumers are prioritizing a lot more of their income toward wellness and preventive fitness now more than ever before. We have the data that’s been showing that annnd I don’t think it’s any secret that our eggs aren’t in the basket of healthcare with its rising costs (here in the US, anyway) TLDW here (too long, didn’t watch) - it’s no longer a nice to have to offer welln...
