It’s not about basketball. It’s about who you’re becoming through basketball 🔑. This is the real game.
Conditioning and weight room are not necessarily “fun”… but they’re essential to your success as a hooper and your success as a healthy human being later in life.
If you build the habit of working on your strength X conditioning thru the game, you have a much higher probability to ALWAYS do this as you get older.
Doing the hard things that the game requires to be great builds grit, persistence and healthy life habits that transfer off the floor.
It also works on the area of your brain required to do hard things. The more you complete hard things thru the game, the more you will complete hard things in life. This is CRUCIAL.
The real game… I think at times, especially in hoop culture, we forget which game the youth are really playing here.
Again… It’s not about basketball. It’s about who you’re becoming through basketball.
