The Pittsburgh Predators and Ice Castle Arena are proudly entering their 25th season! Ralph Murovich built the Ice Castle Arena in 2000 and also founded the Pittsburgh Predators Hockey Club in 2001. The Predators have an impressive alumni of over 500 players from the first 24 seasons who have advanced to a higher level of hockey, including 37 professional (4 NHL), 94 NCAA (Div. I & Div. III), 190+ to Junior A hockey, and more than 300 players to ACHA college hockey. They also currently have a coaching staff with 7 former pro hockey players with over 2,200 professional games played in the NHL, AHL, ECHL, and European pro leagues. The whole Murovich family currently works together to run both the Ice Castle and Pittsburgh Predators organization. Tyler Murovich, who played over 500 professional hockey games, is the current Hockey Director of the Predators, and also founded IC Hockey.
