“Each room feels like its own chapter in a novel,” Tamara Kaye-Honey, the founder and principal of the#ADPROdirectory firm House of Honey says. “It’s traditional and wildly opulent, but it’s also beautifully livable.”
Tucked into a canyon behind overgrown vines, the French-style country manor had soaring ceilings, hidden corners, and a spirit straight out of a fable—yet it also had disjointed layouts, jarring transitions, and spaces that didn’t breathe. “But its magic was still wholly intact, and we saw the potential to bring light, flow, and purpose back into it,” says the designer, who partnered with Rattigan Construction (buildrattigan) for the execution.
