It’s been three months since Special Olympics Healthy Athletes® kicked off at the Special Olympics World Winter Games Turin 2025. Over the next few days, we’ll be sharing transformative stories from the health screenings held during the Games and exploring the lasting impact they’ve had on the health and well-being of athletes around the world. specialolympicsnam floorball team, otherwise known as the “Brave Boys” received their first-ever podiatric screening at the Healthy Athletes discipline, Fit Feet. 👟 The screening revealed that on the eight-person team, three athletes wore improperly sized shoes, and an additional three needed to be treated for foot blisters and wounds.
