Sam Summers heard from Hinterland Music Festival-goers that they weren’t pleased with the heat, the lack of access to water, and the overcrowded feel of the festival grounds in 2024. Temperatures hit highs of 87 degrees on Aug. 2 to 96 degrees on Aug. 4, the final day of the festival, according to the National Weather Service. Fans voiced their frustrations with long lines that formed at water filling stations and complained about the lack of shade on social media.
