A powerful example of what happens when community, creativity, and conservation come together. The East Lions Community Centre in cityoflondonont, Ontario, is now home to the city’s first municipal building retrofit using bird-safe glass — and we’re proud that Feather Friendly markers played a key role. Most of the glass was treated with our standard Feather Friendly markers in the 2x2 inch pattern, while four graphic panels featured a stunning series of custom graphic prints, created using optically clear film with over-lamination, highlighting native bird species like the Northern Cardinal, Northern Flicker, Blue Jay, and Black-capped Chickadee. This initiative was sparked by a resident’s idea through London’s Neighbourhood Decision Making program and backed by overwhelming public support.
