Sen. Dave McCormick showcased Pennsylvania in an unprecedented artificial intelligence and energy summit at Carnegie Mellon University on Tuesday, gathering the forces of technology, government and energy as he and other playmakers pressed for the Keystone State to lead an energy and AI revolution.
The former hedge fund CEO and freshman Republican senator, along with President Donald Trump and several business leaders, announced $92 billion in investment by 20 companies in AI and energy infrastructure in Pennsylvania. The state was a critical 2024 battleground where both Mr. McCormick and Trump campaigned on unleashing Pennsylvania’s natural resources and American energy and technology dominance.
