UPDATE: JFK airport said in a statement that “the debris which leaked onto the baggage belt originated from a faulty pipe connected to a kitchen sink, located in one of the food and beverage locations inside of the terminal. The smell and appearance of the substance was caused by residual cooking oil grease that made its way down to the drainage system. The pipe and debris were in no way connected to sewage.” // Luggage appears to be coated in an unidentified substance at New York's #JFK airport.
