St. Louis, MO - 7/17/25 The Major League Pickleball brought a tournament to the Chaifetz Arena this week. With teams traveling in from all over to compete in a 3 day tournament. With thousands expected to come through the doors this weekend here’s some highlights from day 1. Brooklyn Pickleball team took down Chicago Slice 3-1. Chicago got their only win in the women’s double game with Vivian Glozman and Callie Smith winning 13-11 over Rachel Rohrabacher and Jackie Kawamoto. Brooklyn would takes the men’s doubles game 11-9 with Riley Newman and Aj Koller taking down Chicago’s James Ignatowich and Max Freeman. The mix doubles games both ended 11-4 going to Brooklyn giving them team win. The hometown St. Louis Shock would take on the Atlanta Bouncers in the final match of day 1. The Shock would sweep the Bouncers 4-0. Anna Bright and Kate Fahey for the Shock would beat Vivienne David and Victoria Dimuzio of the Bouncers 11-6 in the women’s doubles game.
