Athletes are going to see a high volume of accelerations in their sport, so while training max velocity is important to raise their ceiling and improve their overall athleticism, making sure that their accelerations are fast is key to their performance on the field. One of our strategies for improving acceleration at a faster rate is to build in extra acceleration specific work to our athletes’ training. Each phase looks slightly different, but here are a few things we’ve been doing recently to hammer acceleration ability. #fastfeetfriday
