Almost nine years after having my son (and being cancer-free!), I’m still continuously shifting my daily routine to feel healthy and strong. Aside from clean eating (low sugar and prioritizing protein), here’s what’s working for me right now:
1. MOVEMENT: I aim for 10,500+ daily steps—many of those miles with my 20lb weighted vest. Every step counts! IYKYK 😉
2. WEIGHTS x PILATES: I lift or hit the mat/reformer (I now have one at home) 3–4 times a week. Listening to my body is everything—I go heavy when I feel strong and dial it back when I need recovery.
3. SLEEP HYGIENE: My ouraring has been a game changer for tracking sleep and making tweaks that really add up.
4. MATCHA: My new go-to instead of Coke Zero—same caffeine boost plus L-theanine to keep me calm and focused.
4. OPTING OUTSIDE: This one comes as no surprise. Sunset walks with Dallas (rain or shine) and weekend hikes with friends always fill my cup. Our garden is also such a happy place for our family. It’s a ton of work,...
