The BEST vanilla syrup for coffee at home☕️
I love making my own syrups!! It takes my coffee to the next level, especially now that I got a new espresso machine.
Ingredients:
1 cup cane sugar
1 cup filtered water
1 vanilla bean pod
Add water and sugar to a saucepan over medium heat. While it heats, squeeze the vanilla bean to loosen the seeds, then slice it open and scrape out the seeds with the back of a knife. Once the syrup is clear and sugar has dissolved, remove from heat, pour into a glass jar, and stir in the seeds and pod. Let it steep overnight, then strain if you’d like — I like mine as it is. Store in a sealed jar in the fridge for up to 2 weeks and use in coffee and lattes or even cocktails 🍸 enjoy!
