"We have a saying in our church "We can't do everything but we must do something." The exciting thing is that God is powerfully at work in Uganda and the local church is right at the heart of what is happening. What was really exciting to see is how real the partnership is between Compassion and the local church and the community. We saw this community that we as a church and conference had been investing into for the last 20 years and saw hundreds and hundreds and hundreds of kids enrolled in this school And 20 years later kids that have graduated are now sowing back into that community and starting to sustain the work of that project on their own. The next stage they were telling me is that Compassion will start to redirect its resources elsewhere because that's about to become fully sustainable." #jesus #church #compassion #hillsongchurch
