Being able to represent Team SURGE was an honor that meant more than just playing softball, but standing for something bigger. SURGE represents Strength, Unity, Resilience, Growth, and Equity, and every time we stepped on the field, we carried those values with us. As a team, we brought our individual strengths together and pushed each other to grow—not just as athletes, but as people. The League gave us a space to play freely, without the pressure of our college environments, and reminded us why we love this game.
