Hicks II ’02 has been named the American Heart Association's 2025 Physician of the Year.⁠ ⁠ Dr. Hicks was recognized for his visionary leadership in stroke care—particularly the launch of Central Ohio’s first mobile stroke treatment unit, which brings life-saving care directly to patients’ doorsteps, reducing critical treatment delays.
