Doug Clapp is the George M. Cohen Player of the year for the very first time. Clapp’s Player of the Year title is accompanied by multiple Top-10 finishes in various events around the state, including the Senior Hornblower tournament and Ouimet Memorial tournament. He also qualified for the U.S. Senior Amateur Championship, took a top-5 finish at the New England Senior Amateur Championship, and capped his season with his first Senior Amateur Championship title.
