How do air tags always know your location?! They don’t use wifi or gps…. And they barely use any battery. So how are they so good?! AirTags use Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) to ping nearby Apple devices. When an iPhone walks by, it picks up the signal, encrypts the location, and sends it to Apple’s servers without knowing what it found. Only you can decrypt that location. It’s like crowdsourced GPS powered by hundreds of millions of Apple devices. They also use UWB (Ultra-Wideband) for precision finding if you’re nearby. That’s what enables the “point the arrow” experience on iPhones with the U1 chip. What is some other tech that blows your mind?! #techexplained #futuretech #developer #stem #education
